There are so many endless possibilities with Happy Wishes, a free product choice during Sale-A-Bration. This is a such a versatile stamp set. You can create endleess sentiments with this one stamp set, simply a must-have!
As you can see, there are two large words that can be combined so many different ways with the other script style words included in the stamp set.
Quite often when I’m “playing” with a stamp set for the first time, I’m more interested in techniques and ideas than with color. For that very reason, all my cards today use Basic Black and Whisper White. It was an easy “go-to” color combination and creates a formal sophisticated look, which I think matches with the style of this stamp set.
Background texture is one of the tricks to use in order to create endless possibilities with Happy Wishes. That’s what I used on my first card.
- I created the background texture with the NEW Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (145649). The cute embossed result look just like sequins!!
- Stampin’ Dimensionals on the sentiment focal piece is another trick I used. Popping the sentiment gives the project depth.
I used background texture on my second card too. But I employed another trick as well…cutting the words apart into rectangles, then mounting them separately.
The texture strip was made with one of the new Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folders (145656). This is one of the two border patterns in the package.
Continuing with the endless possibilities with Happy Wishes, here’s my third card.
I chose to use shape to create this card variation, cutting and matting the sentiment piece with the Lots of Labels framelits dies (138281).
The bottom border is a piece of Basic Black 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon (144129).
As you can see, there are endless possibilities with Happy Wishes. It just takes some imagination!
