Spooky Spiders

Spiders are not my favorite creatures…however when it comes to spiders on a card at Halloween time, I don't mind them.  Here's a fun spider card, created using the Spider Web embossing folder.

Spooky Spider

I dusted the raised web lightly with black chalk using a cotton ball.  The spider is made using the small oval punch, and I drew the face on with marker.  The legs are scrap pieces of 1/8" Black Taffeta ribbon, adhered to the back of the circle.  I raised the spider up using Stampin' Dimnesionals.  The black tulle embellishment was one I created when I found some unused tulle while digging for other fabric.

Hope you enjoyed my spooky spider card.  I'll have one more Halloween card to share tomorrow.

Have fun stampin' it up!

I’m excited to announce…

Simply Scrappin' County Club Card Making Kit

I am very excited to announce for sale my first ever card making kit!  Create a card tote along with twenty (yes, I said TWENTY!) gorgeous cards using the directions in this kit.  The beautiful self-adhesive die-cuts  and designer papers included in the Country Club Simply Scrappin' Kit make it quick and easy to assemble these cards.  There are NO RUBBER STAMPS used on any of the cards, so this is a great project that everyone can feel comfortable with and have fun creating.

Besides being a great addition to your own card stash, the completed cards would be wonderful for gift giving as well (think Christmas).  Order now and have at least one Christmas gift completed and ready to give!  And, cards could easily be split in half to get double the gift giving value!

Looking for a gift for children to make and give?  Assembling these cards using prepared pieces (with adult supervision) would be a great project for kids!

Professionally designed, printable .pdf instruction file includes:

  • An up-close photo and clearly written, detailed directions for each of the 20 cards and card tote.
  • Cutting diagrams that allow the best use of the paper included in your Country Club Simply Scrappin’ purchase.
  • Tips and tricks for creating the cards in this kit.

Please note:  The cards in this kit are designed to be used with the Note Card and Envelope set (107311, $5.95, pg 182) found in the Stampin’ Up! Catalog.  The dimensions of these cards are 5” x 3 1/2”.

There are three ways to receive BeeBug Creation's Simply Scrappin' Country Club Card Making Kit.

OPTION ONE:

Order, through me (either personally or online), the Country Club Simply Scrappin’ kit (122371, $21.95, pg 188) and Note Card and Envelope set (107311, $5.95, pg 182) from the Stampin’ Up! 2011-2012 Idea Book and Catalog  and receive the kit directions FREE. This option does not include prepared kit materials, you will create those using your purchase and the directions included in the kit.  However, because this kit does require extra ribbon and punched shapes, those who choose this ordering option will receive from me, as a bonus and free of charge, the punched shapes and ribbon needed to complete the cards.

Only half the stickers and a small portion of the designer paper and card stock included in this kit are used to make the 20 cards.  Enough product remains to make an additional 20 cards, as well as another gift tote, so additional cards and totes can be created as gifts (or keep some for yourself!).  THIS IS THE BEST VALUE OPTION!

OPTION TWO:

This is the option for those who LOVE creating projects when needed supplies are pre-cut and labled so that only assembly is required!  Customers who order a card making kit from me will receive everything needed to create the twenty cards and tote.  All project pieces will be pre-cut, labeled and ready to assemble.  Directions will be emailed. (This option is only availble to U.S. addresses)

OPTION THREE:

Purchase only the directions for BeeBug Creation’s Simply Scrappin' Country Club Card Making Kit and receive by email the .pdf instructions for creating these 20 cards.

A note to Stampin’ Up! demonstrators:  (Terms of Use)

I give permission to use this card kit in your face-to face classes and workshops only (may not be distributed free with product purchase!), but please be courteous and contact me if you do. Much time and effort went into creating this kit and I would only ask that you respect my intellectual copyright and give credit to me.  Feel free to distribute copies of directions in a face-to face class/workshop. Marina Pizzazz Medallion

DSC02459

Can you stand another Day of Gratitude card?  Even though this set is no longer available, I did want to share this card.  I really like this combination of colors together…Marina Mist and Pear Pizzazz.  Used together they created a very soothing effect.  The background was created using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder.

I want everyone who stops by my blog for a visit to know how much I appreciate it.  Please leave me a comment and let me know you stopped.

Cajun Craze Just Believe

DSC02458 I created some card kits for a craft fair I was in this fall.  This is one of the kits I had available (minus the image).  Card base is So Saffron.  Layered on top of that is a piece of Cajun Craze card stock that I textured with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.  The card stock I stamped the image on is also So Saffron, and the image from Just Believe is stamped in Cajun Craze.  I added a piece of Whisper White Organza ribbon for accent, as well as some pearls for flower centers.

This is a pretty basic layout (sketch)  that could be adapted for many other images.  If you make a card based on this layout, please share it with me.

Thanks for stopping…take time to stamp today!  Blessings to you.
