The theme for this challenge at SUO Challenges is Bright Summer Days. The design team took this challenge off and guest designers stepped in to play for this round. However, I couldn't resist playing along as well.
Here's my card for the summer days theme. To me, butterflies are a wonderful part of summer. For today's card, (which, by the way went together quick and easy) I'm still enjoying playing with the Everything Eleanor stamp set in the new Stampin' Up! catalog. Today's card . I used the swirl image from the stamp set and stamped it using Gumball Green. The butterflies were made with the Beautiful Wings embosslit die and my Big Shot. The blue is Marina Mist, which I think is a great complimentary color to Gumball Green.
I've had a very busy week, and it felt good to be able to sit down and actually create a card. That's always a great release for me!! Thanks for stopping and make sure to check out all the great samples the guest designers made at SUO Challenges.
