Birthday Balloon Card for SUO Challenges

Our assignment for this round of SUO Challenges was to create a kid's card.  Well, let me tell you, the most difficult part of this challenge for me was to  discover a stamp set in my collection that would be good for a child's card.  But, I dug around and found something suitable.  Here's my creation:

Birthday Balloons

As usual, it is my clean and simple style.  This would be a great card for a child to create as well as receive The card base is Tangerine Tango (and so is the Designer Paper and ink for sentiment).  I cut the sentiment banner using the petal cone die (121810 pg 221), the stamp is from the Curly Cute stamp set (W 117014; C 120510 pg 168).  Now, for the rest of the card, I used the balloon from Beary Best Friends (118052 pg 95).  I inked only the balloon string to stamp on the Whisper White ( I used Basic Gray marker).  Then, I stamped a balloon on each color card stock, using the same color ink, and cut out with scissors. Colors used for the balloons were:  Wild Wasabi, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, and Pacific Point.  I attached them to the card front with dimensionals.

I think cards move to the next level when the inside is also decorated, so have decided to take the time to do more of this.  Here's what the inside of this card looks like.

Balloons were created exactly the same way as those on the card fromt, but I  glued them directly to the Whisper White card stock.

Now it's YOUR turn.  Let's see what kind of card you can create for kids.  Make sure to upload it to SUO Challneges.
